You're looking at a stunning tabletop organizer -- great for jewelry (a ring perhaps?) or office supplies or just to admire. This piece is cast in electric lime green industrial strength urethane from a vintage carved monkeypod dish. The dish is super brilliant in color -- the photos don't do it justice. It's not quite flourescent, but almost; the edges in person are very yellow-y. Actually the photo that captures it best in color is the first, which shows the effect when the dish is held up to the sun.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS DISH/ORGANIZER:
1) NOT food safe! This particular urethane is NOT safe for food, so don't even try it. However, it will look just dandy holding paperclips, sticky notes, bottle caps, needles and thread, earrings and rings -- you name it.
2) Measures 10" x 6" x 1.25"
3) Extremely durable, as all Dave Sheely Designs pieces are.
4) Because this was cast from a vintage carved piece, there WILL be slight nicks, woodgrain, etc. in the final project. We will give the edges a sanding and make sure it's up to our standards, but know that this is not a smooth, glossy piece.
