My unique spine of green bamboo is included in the Japanese stab binding which holds 30 blank pages (60 front and back). The bamboo will change colors while you live your life as a work of art!
I learned that bamboo is hard to cut while green, so you may see where the saw slipped while I was cutting the piece to size. Also, I improvised in splitting the the bamboo by using a mat knife and hitting it with a hammer.
The journal is 7" wide by 9" long.
Notice the deckle edges of the handmade paper.

The addition of bamboo as a spine has made this soft cover journal more sturdy and will withstand your everyday use.
The 30 pages of inside paper is a 20 pound Artic White speckled paper which is perfect for pencil or other light weight media. All pages are blank.
It will come packaged in a cello bag. Perfect for giving.
