Vintage Viking Shield Style Pewter Pin Pendant Norway TINN

An elaborate small domed shield shaped pin with ornate scroll designs and raised balls in a circle of smaller circles. Lots of great metal work and texture in this design. Very detailed. It was acquired from the estate jewelry of a woman who traveled quite a bit. The exact age is unknown.

The back has an S like closure. There is a ring also to wear it as a pendant.

There are markings etched into the back. I can make out: Tinn, Made in Norw... (Norway) Plus there is a shield like emblem with an H (?) in it. All these markings are hard to read!

1 1/4 inches diameter. Great condition.
