This is a beauty, a United States Air Force Uniform from 1950. It has the pants, hat, two lapel pins, and wool jacket complete with buttons and patches. It's in good enough condition for a collector or can be re-worn as a fashion staple. The coat will keep you warm and toasty.

Jacket
Tag: 38L
Shoulder: 17 1/2"
Sleeve length (from shoulder): 26"
Sleeve width: 6 1/4" (laid flat)

Pants
Tag: W 32/L 33
Pant leg width: 10" (laid flat, near inseam)

Flaws-no stain or tears, well-above average condition. Very minor loss of stitching on back flap, and some tarnish on one of the lapel pins. This has been dry-cleaned (with the exception of the hat) and comes from a smoke-free home. This came from a rural auction and shows little signs of use. If more photos are wanted I would be happy to send them. The 5th photo is a litte dark since the tag is inside the interior pocket. PLEASE NOTE-I will take returns if coat doesn't fit, but must be notified with 24 hrs. and I must receive it within 7 business days and condition must be the same as when sent out. Model has medium/large build, this won't work on a stocky or very broad build, as vintage sizes are smaller than modern sizes. If this isn't for use you'll have no desire to return it, as you'll be pleased with the condition and this rare find.

Please note, I've been informed if you plan to wear this and aren't enlisted as a rank of Staff Sergeant (per stripes on sleeve) the ensignia should be removed. The military frowns on impersonation. Thanks to the fellow Etsian that brought this to my attention.

Thanks for your interest, and if you have any questions please ask. I also have more military uniforms available from this time period below:
