Candy is a make-do doll, mounted on a vintage wooden candlestick that has been painted and aged to match her candy corn outfit. She is made from natural muslin that has gone through an extensive painting process to give her that warm rosy glow. She has large sparkling green eyes, with applied eyelids, giving her eyes a 3-d look.
Her hair is a natural, warm brown sheep's wool that has been needle felted and sculpted into her two long pig tails, crowned with her candy corn witch's hat.
Candy empire waist dress was made using cotton fabrics in candy corn colors with a black and white polka dot bodice and orange and yellow layered skirt. Candy's skirt features layers of tulle to give it lots of fullness and fluff. I created a candy corn trinket that you see tied to her sash at her waist.
