This soft Japanese kimono silk is of medium weight, suitable for cool spring and summer nights, and crisp fall days. In summer it will protect your neck against cold drafts from air conditioning.

Kimono silk is quite strong and is traditionally washed in water. I machine washed this silk with Woolite before sewing the scarf, so you don’t have to worry about shrinkage. I suggest hand washing because of the edge beading.
Wash in warm water using Woolite or similar product. Rinse. Roll in towel to absorb excess moisture. Dry flat.
