In this tutorial/pattern you will follow along as we make unique Witch BOO'ts that can be used as containers. They are perfect for displaying anything from candy to flowers. A great decoration for Halloween or all year round!
These non-wearable paper mache footwear are created using upcycled everyday materials including cardboard food boxes and newspaper as a frame. With step-by-step instructions and a multitude of progress pictures to help you along the entire process, you will enjoy creating these boots at just about any skill level.
All you really need is:
• A PENCIL
• SCISSORS
• Masking TAPE
• BOWL with Lid
• SPOON
• CEREAL BOXES or other cardboard food containers
• NEWSPAPER
• Paper mache PASTE (Use the ultra simple recipe provided*)
A pattern for the witch boot is supplied, but by no means required to create this project. Though this tutorial is for a witch boot, these same techniques can be applied to many boot or shoe designs among other things. Feel free to change it up or alter the pattern to you liking.
* I'm including the simplest, easiest best ever paper mache paste recipe that is ready in seconds and uses safe nontoxic ingredients. It's even safe for children to make it, use it.... or, heck why not, eat it, too!
