Fall is the prime time of year to start perusing the Poe. This bookmobile, made from "The Gold Bug and Other Stories", makes for a beguiling bit of literary art. The ivory pages portray poetically macabre drawings in black and sage green. The original end pages, with a skull and branch, remain, with one of them forming an accent of a page loop. Within are fragments of "The Pit and the Pendulum", "The Raven", and "Annabel Lee". Published in 1953.
