I first made this kind of Advent calendar last year to help my kids prepare for and count down to Christmas. We loved using it, so I decided to add it to my shop!
Every day, I put a scripture passage, riddle, or note in the envelopes, and my kids open it in the morning. Sometimes there is a small gift to go along with what was written, sometimes we do an activity as a family, and other times we do something for charity.
You can reuse these envelopes for years to come!
This is a garland made of mini white envelopes (2.125 x 3.625") that have been decorated with various red, green and white Christmas-patterned papers, and numbered with calendar stickers. They're clipped with mini clothespins to red and white baker's twine or jute (your choice), and they look great hanging on a mantle, staircase, or wall, or even draped around your Christmas tree.
The 4th picture is actually of another set of envelopes I have listed, but gives you an idea of what it looks like hanging on a mantle!
This listing includes:
25 hand-decorated envelopes
25 mini clothespins
7' of baker's twine or jute
