This hat is adorable on either a boy or a girl. It is perfect for baby's photo shoots, and makes a great gift for photographers, new babies, and even older kids who simply want a fun, cute winter hat! The pattern includes instructions to make this hat as a simple beanie style (as shown in the pictures as a cream beanie with brown trim) or with earflaps and long braided ties.
Materials you will need:
U.S. F/G/H hook
1 skein of worsted weight yarn in main hat color
small amount of yarn in contrasting color for trim (optional)
Tapestry needle
Sizes included:
newborn
0-3 months
3-6 months
6-12 months
toddler-5 years
as well as guidelines to adapt to larger sizes
