The icebergs that reach Newfoundland broke off of their glacier more than a year before. They often spend a year or more in cold arctic bays melting slowly until eventually passing through the straight and into the labador current. Rarely do icebergs last more than one year south of this point. the glacier bear records their progress and makes sure the numbers stay even.
this bear is sewn from ice blue wool felt. he has a glacier crest painted on both sides with embroidered details. he measures 4 x 2.5 inches.
thanks :)
