This purse is for all of you who need a mostly serious and professional bag that can carry a lot, but want to have a little fun to, so it's beautiful pleated wool in the front, and hand painted bunny on the back! In its previous life, this brown wool skirt was seriously out-dated when I found it, but I loved the fabric and knew it had potential. So after deconstructing it, reworking it and sewing it back together, it's now an adorable purse with its own lop eared rabbit on the back. In true reduce/reuse/recycle fashion, I re-purposed a pink and purple polka dot bed sheet for the fabric lining and used a strip of fabric from the hem of the skirt to make the shoulder strap. The side pockets are still in tact and usable for keeping those "I have to get at this fast" items. I've added a top flap that with velcro closure to keep all your belongings safe!
