This dress is one of my favorite pieces from my newest collection, inspired by the prairie lands where I grew up... late summer days spent wandering in flax fields, fall evenings spent burning the fields with my grandpa and dad to prepare them for the coming season. Starry nights, field mice, golden wheat and awe inducing sunsets.
I created the print used in the center panel of the dress using a photo of fields, flipping and repeating it in various ways, and then adding random black bars to break up the image. This image is digitally printed on medium weight organic cotton.
The rest of the dress is made up of bamboo viscose (so smooth and silky!) as well as black powermesh (super strong, smooth not scratchy, with 2 way stretch)
