The skull base is covered in black felt, and the hand-sewn ears have ribbon pink fabric lining them. Underneath, a comb is attached to hold the headband in place. The headband attaches with long cords of leather, which are tied around the base of the skull, up over the headband, and finally knotted at the base of your head.
Experiences wearing deer antlers:
This headband is not too heavy, but wearers should use caution when wearing it, as it is tall and may snag on chandeliers, doorways, and low hanging branches. For extra stability, wearers may choose to don a wig so that the counter weight of the antlers pull on the roots of the wig.
