Made from exclusive Harris Tweed wool which was imported from a lovely shop located on the Isle of Harris, Scotland. Harris Tweed is a luxury cloth handwoven by the islanders in their homes on the Isles of Harris, Lewis, Uist and Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, using local wool. The Harris Tweed label is sewn onto the back of the bag.
This one-of-a-kind purse is made with Harris Tweed wool in a mustard weave, olive green weave and a brown toned barleycorn weave.
Roomy enough to fit your daily essentials with a stylish stream-lined design that fits comfortably under your arm.
The flap has a magnetic closure and is adorned with two wood buttons. The purse is fully lined in a lovely cotton fabric printed with delicate butterflies. One interior zippered pocket and one slip pocket keep your things organized.
Both the exterior and interior fabric is interfaced and an additional layer of heavy stabilizer was added to give the bag structure and durability. This is a structured purse that holds its shape. All seams are double stitched and stress points extra reinforced. Created by hand from start to finish in my studio and sewn with care to be both beautiful and durable.
