Style: Art Deco round rollo cable chain
Quantity: (1 foot) (30cm)

This chain's links are 10mm round flat rollo cables linked by 8mm flat ovals. This larger link chain is a delicious pleasure to hold, work with and wear. Our Erté chain can be used for many of your nostalgic period designs, especially those with an Art Deco flair. Use two pairs of flat nosed pliers to separate the links of this decorative and durable chain.

We love Erté who was all about the jewelry and fashion.
Erté, a Russian-born French Art Deco painter and designer was originally named Remain de Tirtoff. He was born in imperial St. Petersburg in 1892. His pen name was derived from the French pronunciation of his initials "R.T." One of art and design history's premiere trailblazers, Erté had a profound influence on 20th century fashion and design. Early on, he was best known for the 250 covers he designed for Harper's magazine. He went on to dress many of Hollywood's leading ladies before moving on to create costumes for the stage. In his later years he created limited edition serigraphs based on his various designs and was very successful doing bronze casting sculpture. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 98.
