Circus Tent Cart (4 1/4" Tall)
Cirque is made of quilter’s muslin that has been painted and sanded, then painted and sanded again, giving the fabric a rich patina that feels like old leather. All the details are entirely painted (not drawn with pens or pencils) using acrylic paint and teeny tiny paintbrushes. Her arms are button jointed, allowing them to be posed. Her legs are made of hardwood and are anchored into a wooden base. Her wooden circus tent has spinning wheels.
Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by our own hands. Individually sewn, drawn, and painted, Cirque is made in a limited edition of 9. Each piece is signed, dated, and numbered by us, Dylan and Jo.
The exact piece pictured has been sold, but we've already begun work on the next one in the series. It will look very much like the one pictured, but allow for subtle differences since they are all hand painted. Once payment is received, please give us about a week to finish it for you.
