Please note that the interior of the teacup now ships WHITE, not black as shown above. There may be slight differences as each teapot is made one at a time--these differences reflect the handmade nature of this piece.
This handmade teapot and cup set were glazed a glossy white in all lead free, eco friendly glazes. This teapot and cup set was kiln fired three times. DISHWASHER and MICROWAVE SAFE!!!
The design for the Lionel Richie artwork on this mug was created by THE NICEST AND FUNNIEST GUY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD: Tony, from http://www.creativetypes.blogspot.com and his blog Creative Dad is one of the best reads on the internet! This design is used by permission, which just goes to show you there's never any harm in asking for something nicely. Did I mention that Tony is the nicest guy in the world?
Earthenware clay, kiln fired three times to 1900 degrees. Lead free, eco friendly, safe to dishwash and microwave. THis teapot should NOT be placed on a direct flame on top of a stove--use it to brew and serve tea only please.
