'Kapow' is a word that feels like victory to me. Take that, bad guys!
The seven-and-a-half by nine-and-a-half opening features 'kapow' seemingly floating in mid-air, but really it's housed between two pieces of glass. The found frame is vintage brass and I've discovered a process that gives it a look like it's been enamelled. Piece measures approximately ten-and-a-half by thirteen-and-a-half overall and has a pair of brass d-rings firmly affixed to the back for hanging.
I love a good frame and I have had a lifelong love affair with words, so the Floating Words series I've started tickles me to death since it marries the two. Lots more to come.
