I have been weaving scarves for 10 years and with the coming of my first child, it was time to elaborate! I pulled together two of my beloved pasttimes~ sewing and weaving. This blanket has such a nice weight as it is double sided, though the woven rainbow is only on one side. The Hemp Organic Cotton material is in heavyweight; the kind of material for heavy sweatshirts/pants. Though my girl kicks off her blankets, I feel when I put this one down, she is really being embraced by the weight compared to all her other blankets. The size is approx. 97 x 83 cm.

Woven with so many different types of eco fibers ~ organic cotton, organic soy cotton blend, bamboo, hemp, and pima tencel.


I am currently waiting for a delivery of some of the materials needed for this rainbow blanket. I am hoping for it to arrive by May 30th. From that point, please allow 6 days for the making of this blanket.
