vintage rhinestone locket / 1930s jewelry / WHIRLIGIG

A dainty vintage locket set with rhinestones and decoratively engraved. The locket is circular with a machined verso and beautiful face. The locket has a raised edge and then a copper-hued band elegantly engraved with interlocking whirligigs. The center of the locket is set with a ring of sixteen spur-set rhinestones. There is one rhinestone ad the very center of the locket, too. All of the stones are present although a few have dulled over the years. The locket opens to a single photo compartments, currently holding two black and white photographs. The locket closes tightly and suspends from the original, open loop bail and chain. There is some tarnish around the rim of the locket but overall condition is outstanding.
