This wonderful new piece captures the personality of the mysterious cephalopod. It was carved in wax here in NYC by Keith K. It was also cast and plated in exotic Hell's Kitchen NYC. I do these in small batches to keep the quality level high.
This first run piece is an adjustable ring and fits sizes 7 to 11 including half sizes. Please request which size you would like in the message to the seller when you check out.

Cast in white metal and thickly plated in antiqued gold the octopus ring looks great and wears well.

I also offer this ring in solid sterling silver $130. I also have this piece in jet black gun metal, solid tarnish resistant bronze, antique bronze and antique silver plate.

I have my own long standing relationship with the octopus. from We would play games with each other in the tide pools in the back country of the Florida Keys when I lived on my sailboat. More than once the game would end with me getting ink in my eye.

I also found out that they are the most intelligent sea creatures. They have both short and long term memory and they can open a screw top jar to get inside!

Every other invertebrate registers as static on an EEG. An Octopus generates the kind of slow looping patterns you'd see in a dog or maybe even a primate.

The Hawaiʻian creation myth relates that the present cosmos is only the last of a series, having arisen in stages from the wreck of the previous universe. In this account, the octopus is the lone survivor of the previous, alien universe.

Kanaloa - The Hawaiian Creator, the equivalent of Tangaroa from Maori myths. He is also the god of the underworld, who can teach magic. He appears in the shape of an octopus.

They learn. They remember things. They make plans. They play.
