This one of a kind pair of earrings is made from recuperated copper wire that has been powder-coated. The wire comes from used electrical wires that have been skinned, cleaned, drawn, formed and soldered. Powder-coating is an industrial technique (often used by the automotive industry) that results in a durable plastic coating on the surface of the metal.

They are quite large and make a statement, but are still relatively light and comfortable to wear. They hang just above the shoulder. The posts and butterfly backs are sterling silver
