This mug was an advertising promotion for Rice Honniess and Wheat Honnies Cereal back in the 1950's. Inside the cereal boxes were coupons which could be mailed back to acquire adorable mugs or cereal bowls.
This white glass mug or cup features a blue transfer of Ranger Joe as he rides his trusty bronco in the tough terrain of mountains and cactus. This mug has blue transfer on a white glass background.
At the top of the mug it reads Ranger Joe Ranch Mug and there is also close up graphic of Ranger Joe with his horse on the sides of the mug.
This child size cup stands about 3 inches tall and the mouth of the mug is almost but not quite 2 3/4 inches wide from rim edge to rim edge.
Measurements are approximate.
On the bottom it is marked with the H over the A for the Hazel Atlas logo.
Near the base there are some bubble bursts or pops within a rough spot with tiny fleabites or chips that may be an "as made" factory issue. This area measures about 1/4 inch.
The are a few spots of irregularity or wear to the blue transfer when examined closely.
Inside the cup is a straw mark.
Most vintage glassware has straw marks, white spots, mold marks and swirls of color.
Would make a nice addition to your Hazel Atlas collection or to your country western decor.
