As I said, this yarn is approximately DK/worsted weight; I am not an even spinner so while not flat-out slubby, some parts are thicker than others (the beauty of handspun is that it's not always even like commercial yarn, making it more unique). Each skein is approximately 178 yards (as of writing this I have two skeins available). With 178 yards you could make a small scarf, a hat, or a pair of fingerless gloves; both skeins together would make a good-sized scarf, or a smaller hat-and-scarf combo; or incorporate this handspun in with a larger project made from commercially spun yarn of the same weight. I also have a third skein that will be listed separately, that is 209 yards.
This yarn was spun in a smoke-free, but not pet-free home; however, once spun it is kept in a bin which cats and dogs do not have access to.
