I make my Vegan Taxidermy birds using crepe paper for the feathers, over a hand-sculpted form. I do not use any molds, and the only pre-fabricated part of this sculpture are the glass eyes, and base with dome.
This bird lives in western North America, usually in riparian corridors, open woodland, and around suburban areas. They eat berries, insects and nectar, and are seasonally monogamous.
