I use 3 strands of strong, durable yarn for the base (shown here in a medium brown taupe with just a hint of khaki green!), please let me know which colors you'd like for the base of the throw I design specifically for you). Here are some ideas:

Then I add foot long, thick, beautiful fringe on each end. The fringe shown includes mocha browns, cottony creams, new grass & olive greens, moss, golden amber and so much more. Again, feel welcome to ask me to customize for you!
This richly textured throw blanket is warm without being suffocating and is the perfect, snuggle size to enfold and nurture an individual or couple (5 feet long including fringe x 3 feet wide to start; it's very elastic because of the special stitch I used, so it easily stretches to 5 feet wide).
When laid lengthwise, it easily covers the width of a queen sized mattress, so it makes a lovely warmer at the foot of the bed.
As with most of my work, please just let me know if you'd like yours a little different; custom orders & special requests are welcome and I generally can make a design more heavy or lightweight, wider or thinner, shorter or longer, use different colors, etc.
