This small instant collection is just waiting to sit in your sunniest window! What a cheerful color this is! The first item is an ink bottle, which I believe my mother bought at a barn sale here in Maine, probably in the 1970's, but I think it must be older than that. It stands 1 7/8 inches high and is 1 3/4 inches in diameter across the base. It shows some signs of wear and the imperfections which were typical of older bottles. The second piece is a larger bottle, which is 4 1/2 inches high and 2 inches in diameter across the base. It is a newer bottle, but she would have owned it at least since the 1970's. The last piece, which is probably the most interesting, is a tiny oil lamp. The top part is made of brass, the bottom is cobalt blue glass, it stands 3 inches high and is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. It is marked on the bottom "Made in Hong Kong". This was given to her by her father, which would have been in the mid-1970's. It would be much older than that, however, but I really have no idea of its age. Unfortunately, the glass chimney is gone on this piece. Other than this, all the pieces are in nice condition.

The bottles are just nice the way they are, but I happen to know that they look especially good in a window sill as vases with little flowers in them. And the little lamp is just happy to keep the bottles company!
