Based on vintage book illustrations, this design is a twist on traditional embroidery subjects (though it's perhaps more reminiscent of Monty Python's Holy Grail.)
This has been lovingly hand-stitched in both stranded cotton and machine thread onto white cotton fabric and framed in a woodgrain flexi-hoop, with bloody details added in paint.
The frame measures 6" x 4.5" and is ready to hang from the metal loop at the top. It is fixed neatly at the back and reinforced with a card insert, as shown.
