Our modular design means that your child can put the toy together in hundreds of different configurations. The pieces slide easily together to make the classic truck, submarine and airplane. The pieces can be put together in multiple other ways as well, your child's imagination creates the possibilities for this toy! Our vehicle is compatible with our other modular wall sets and structures so if you have those sets, your child could make traveling castles, pet shops, barns, etc....

When assembled as a truck, airplane or submarine, the vehicle is 12 in. long and 7 1/2 in. tall and wide. The base has a small hole and the toy comes with a string so that you can thread the string through the hole and your child can pull the vehicle if desired. Each configuration has lots of storage to haul your child's favorite books, toys and stuffed animals.
We build our modular toys from a high grade of birch plywood. Plywood is an eco-friendly material because it uses parts of the tree that would otherwise be wasted.
Your toy is handcrafted especially for you from natural materials, and so may vary slightly from the photo. The walls are left natural and are not sealed. There may be some friction when sliding the pieces together for the first few uses. We use recyclable packing material to protect the toy in the box. A card with information about our family business and care instructions for your toy is enclosed with your purchase. A Manzanita Kids logo is found on the base.

We carefully select the best American hardwoods for our toys and buy from a local source. This beautiful wood is enhanced and protected by our own blend of beeswax and organic safflower oil, which we apply and polish by hand. The birch plywood we use for our modular toys is of the highest quality and exceeds the strict requirements set by the European Union and the California Environmental Protection Agency. Our toys are safe, durable, beautiful and meant to be passed to the next generation.
