100% natural off-white suri alpaca roving. The roving is relatively thin - not pencil thin but approximately 3/4" wide so it drafts extremely easily. This roving is very soft with a gorgeous luster to it. It spins like a dream - I'm currently spinning it up nice and thin and expect it to finish up at a sport weight two-ply yarn. Very little VM in the roving and it falls out easily as you spin it. My yarn is also forming a beautiful fuzzy halo to it. I expect it might bloom even more after working with the yarn. There are a few small neps in the roving because the fiber is so fine but you can either pick those neps out as you spin or leave them in to give your finished yarn a little bit of texture to go with that fabulous halo!
I am selling this in 1 oz, 4 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz lots here in the Etsy store. You save 25 cents per ounce with each increase in the amount of ounces you purchase. For instance, if you buy it by the ounce it is $4 per ounce. If you purchase a 4 ounce package, it is $3.75 per ounce. If you purchase an 8 ounce package it is $3.50 per ounce and if you purchase a full pound of the fiber at one time it is $3.25 per ounce.
