This friendly moose is made of stuffed quilter’s muslin that has been painted and sanded, then painted and sanded again, giving the fabric a rich patina that feels like old leather. His big ole antlers and his ears are button jointed, allowing them to be posed. The antlers are made of painted muslin and have wires inside them to hold them in place. He's attached to a butter yellow wooden shield that has a hole in the back to hang it from. If you'd like a different color shield, just let us know.
Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by our own hands. Individually sewn, drawn, sculpted, and painted, Moose Head is made in a limited edition of 9. Each piece is signed, dated, and numbered by us-- Dylan and Jo.
The exact piece pictured has been sold, but we've already begun work on the next one in the series. It will look very much like the one pictured, but allow for minor differences since they are all hand painted. Once payment is received, please give us about a week to finish it for you.
