Now you can create custom personalized pieces using this pretty set of steel stamps from the Chip Art line of products by Melody Ross.
To use, attach the stamp of your choice onto the handle. Moisten the surface of your chipboard or tooling leather lightly with water then use a wood or rawhide hammer on the end of the handle to stamp your design. (Tooling leather is a smooth plain leather that has not yet been dyed or finished. You'll get a much deeper stamp impression if you stamp your plain leather first, then color it after. And suede is not suitable for stamping (try a wood burning tool though!) )
(These stamps do not work on metal. Believe me I've tried but their large surface areas, while wonderful for leather and chipboard, are not suitable for stamping on metal.)
Set includes twenty 1/4" (.64 cm) Numbers & Glyphs stamps with handle and decorative tin.
