Here is one of the most sought after of the Ericofons, the red PTT model. The Ericofon (nicknamed the "Cobra"), was a big success in many countries, and was introduced in the Netherlands in 1978. These Dutch PTT versions are very sought after by collectors. 'PTT' stands for Post, Telegraph & Telephone - the Dutch national telephone company, before it was privatized in 1989. The red model is a deeper red than the American and Swedish models and is prized by collectors. The phone is in mint condition with no cracks, breaks, or scratches. It has a new bottom rubber gasket. It is wired with a modern plug and is ready to plug and play. Please note that these phones have no ringer, but rather a weak sounding buzzer. This particular phone's buzzer works only intermittently which is common to these phones.
Don't miss this great collectible phone!
