This fun and nostalgic 3/4 inch tall necklace charm is actually a working sort-a-ring toy. You can remove each of the mini color rings and replace it on the silver stand. The colors are in the exact order of the rainbow - remember ROY-G-BIV? (R-red, O-orange, Y-yellow, G-green, B-Blue, I-Indigo, V-Violet). I can't think of a more fun way to remember your color spectrum! (YOU gNeek is all about fun and function and a little education!)
The silver plated metal stand hangs on an 18" silver-plated chain thin enough for the rings to slide up and down. (If you wish to upgrade to a sterling silver chain for an additional $9.00 please contact me). You can't lose the sorting rings because the clasp and the jumprings at each end are bigger than the ring openings. All the rings are made of rubber except the top one. The top red one is made of pressed glass and I have used a diamond file to enlarge the opening to accommodate the post and chain. Note that 2 of the 4 sides on the silver-plated base has a small hole (see 4th picture). If you wish to add a birthstone to the opening, please contact me. The bottom is hollow.
This product is not safe nor suitable for children because of the really small parts and the delicate nature of the charm. The actual Fisher Price stacking toy is not included and is shown for size comparison.
