I've also always admired African beadwork,
so I was excited to try my hand at making a piece that embodied that style.
Made by hand stitching multi-colored seed beads, in a somewhat geometric pattern,
to a background of chocolate brown Eco-felt. (Eco-felt is made out of recycled water bottles)
I then accented this centerpiece with 2 chunky wooden beads,
and some lovely vintage chains that I saved from broken jewelry. :)
~*~The details:
This necklace is 17" long, plus 3" of chain to make the length adjustable up to 20".
Gold plated, lobster claw clasp.
The centerpiece is 4" wide, 3 1/2" long.
