"The north wind doth blow and we shall have snow, and what will the robin do then, poor thing?"
This little robin has fluffed up his feathers, and is hoping that he will find a cosy perch in someone's home for the winter!
Measuring just over 1 inch tall, and 2 1/2 inches from beak to tail, this sweet little robin has been carefully sculpted using the 'needle felt' technique, a time-consuming and sometimes painful operation whereby unspun wool is repeatedly jabbed with a barbed needle until it takes on the desired form and density.
Little robin would make a lovely addition to your autumnal decor, or would look beautiful perched in a Christmas tree!
