As a child I loved connect the dots coloring books, Pie reminds me of that time. A set of five rings which sit nestled against each other. The dots are made up of black rose cut diamonds, they are so sweet each sitting on a 1mm band. I cast Pie in 18k gold and gave her a rustic matte finish. You can wear all five rings together or separate them and wear as many as you wish. Sweet travels.

I select each stone individually, some may have tiny imperfections but they are so sweet and lovely to me, it reminds me of the journey they've been through.
A little about how your ring was made.

Lost wax casting. I begin by creating a wax model of your ring. I then make a mold of it with plaster. After it sets, I place your mold into my kiln for many hours during which the wax is melted out. Next I melt your gold and spin it into the mold using a centrifugal casting machine. It is then quenched in water, there is a mini explosion as the hot flask hits the water and your plaster mold is destroyed. Now for my favorite part, I dig to the bottom of the bucket to find your little gold sculpture. I'm so happy, your ring is ready to be cleaned, textured and finished. This may seem a bit extreme for a simple gold band, but I love the organic softness which is created by wax.
