I have to say I like this better than the record in some ways. Its raw and emotional. These are the acoustic demos to my last studio album, Little Hells. I recorded all of these demos at home and many of the songs took quite different turns from their origins. I know that some people really like the intimacy of lo-fi home recordings, when contrasted with high-fi studio recordings. I have a soft spot for both, although I do know that not everyone does. These recordings are just me and my guitar, and they are the best demos of each song. Also included is a song that didn't make the official record called "Bye, Bye Ocean and Sky."
