:: Swivels all around and glides on wheels perfectly. Overall condition is very good, with some slight chipping to base edges and some rust on metal portions (especially on the bottom-side of the chair, where the manufacturing label is), some very slight bending in the base, foam poking through bottom-side of chair as seen in last photograph. Vinyl condition is near pristine with no rips, stains or looseness that you might normally find with a chair of this age and make, and it is tightly connected to metal as a wrapped covering. Only note on the vinyl is the color, that we are assuming is a red that has faded over the years (although the color is completely consistent allover with no faded spotting effect, so without another chair like this to compare it to, the color could be original).
:: This chair is particularly rare, as the black vinyl with gray base is more easily found, and may even be a first production of this particular style or color as we cannot find another like it. Known for their innovative office chairs, Okamura is a company still around today. And what makes this chair pretty darn cool besides its look and comfort is that it was only 2 years before this chair was made, that in 1969 Okamura began sales of Japan's first desks and chairs with color.
