Girasol is the spanish word for Sunflower, and I thought this name would fit this yarn perfectly. It's an incredibly soft yarn, and the colors remind me of a sunflower farm I found in the Redlands area once. This yarn is one of a kind, and there is just enough yardage for a pair of socks.

This yarn was hand dyed by me, but the yarn is Knit Picks Fingering weight Bare. Since this is superwash yarn, it is machine washable/dryable.

Amount: 462 yards/100 grams

This was produced using professional acid dyes. It's incredibly soft and is perfect for next to skin items. Projects to consider this yarn for:

* Scarves/cowls

* Sweaters/shrugs/wraps
* Soakers/wool pants
* Home items like pillows and afghans
* Toys

This comes from a non-smoking home. The fiber is kept in sealed bins away from my pets.
