Bronze Trefoil Tiara

This is a very special tiara, as it is made from a pine cone! I pulled each separate "seed", or whatever they're called, out of a pinecone, made little trefoil shapes and attached is to a metal tiara band. The piece is completely coated with bronze spray pain, and then by hand I have added gold/orange metallic paint for highlights.

This tiara is extremely lightweight. I would not recommend this for children, as it may be too fragile for a child. The piece is protected with varnish, and as long as it isn't roughly treated, will last a good long while. I made this piece about a year ago, and it is still is perfect condition!
