Ceramic French Butter Keeper - Handmade Butter Dish - Rustic Butter Crock - Sun Spiral - Dark Carmel

Old ways become new again with this lovely French Butter Keeper. This design allows you to store butter at room temperature, keeping the butter soft and spreadable. An inch of water at the bottom of the cup seals air out and freshness in.

I made this piece on my pottery wheel, using porcelain stoneware blended clay. Slip trail Whimsy Sun surface decoration. Finished in translucent Rustic Amber glaze and kiln fired to 2185 degrees strong.

Approximate size:
5.25 wide, 2.25 tall - Fits 1 stick of butter.
Food and Dishwasher safe.
