60s Mod Black Wool Knit Short Shift Dress M

So perfectly of its time, this mid to late 60s dress is sleekly modern in black wool with well-chosen details. The small stand-up collar has a slightly padded upper half, and a line of stitching around its middle. There are top-stitched front princess seams, and front and back shoulder yokes. There is a wide band from the waist to the hip, giving the dress a bit of a drop-waist look. The dress is made of smooth, unlined wool. There is a long back covered nylon zipper. I see a clipped out tag, no maker's label.

Condition: Very good by my thinking. There are a few tiny snags. There are also one very small and one tiny hole. The two holes are shown in the last square. These are located on the upper side front and front waistband respectively.

Size: Medium leaning toward small. The fabric certainly has stretch throughout.
