Remember the way you felt last time someone surprised you with flowers? Or a gift for no good reason other than to make your day? You can easily share that feeling with others and make yourself feel proud by giving someone else something to smile about. And, unlike flowers and cookies, this cheerful gift will last a life time.
A little bit about pikas:
Pikas live throughout North America and Asia in rock piles at high elevations. They are often spotted running around long (at least long for them) stems of plants and flowers. If you are curious about these little creatures check out this webpage: http://www.pikaworks.com/pikas/
There are also a bunch of cute YouTube videos and have been featured in several David Attenburough documentaries.
This little guy measures ~3.5" long and ~2" tall and was needle felted with alpaca wool. He is sure to put a smile on your face!
He was created by needle felting - a process that involves stabbing wool roving repeatedly until it condenses. The wool can be shaped by poking more in one area than another and pieces combined can create these cute creatures! This project took 2-3hrs to complete and I will be sad to see him go!
He will arrive a handmade box as seen in the last picture.
