The cup features a butter yellow exterior with white foot, the interior, features bands of yellow and gilt with a painting tucked on the floor of the cup of fruit and nuts, signed by D. Jones (Photo 1), one of Aynsley's longtime painters.
The saucer is likewise, white with thick bands of butter yellow. Rim and edges are lined in shiny gilt. Except for minimal gilt wear on handle, there are no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. Very lovely!

This Aynsley is a very beautiful tea cup and saucer and one that anyone would be proud to display or use.
