This is a large size ponytail wrap for thicker hair. The diameter of the ponytail wrap starts from 1.5" at the top and tapers down to 1" at the bottom. The ponytail wrap is 12 inches long, and the hair hook is 2 inched across.
This ponytail wrap and hair hook is made of brass with sterling silver overlay.

How to size your ponytail:
Step 1: Put your hair in an elastic band.
Step 2: Push a pencil horizontally through the middle of the hair directly below the elastic band until the tip of the pencil reaches to the opposite side of the ponytail.
Step 3: Use your thumb to mark the point on the pencil that is just outside the hair so when you pull it out you can see how thick the ponytail is.
Step 4: Use a ruler to measure how far the pencil went through your ponytail.
*If your measurement is 1.5" or larger, a Large is your size.
