These new peyote bangles came out of my need to continue beading while I was recuperating from a pinched nerve in my neck. I could bead. What I couldn't do was follow a pattern.
The real inspiration for this new series of Ribbed Peyote Cuffs is another kind of cuff, however - the kind you find on your favorite knit sweaters. I've always loved the texture of ribbing and, finally, I have found a way to make it without getting out the knitting needles and yarn! Even better, you can wear these any time of year.
While this bangle is a little heavier than many of my pieces, it is still extremely comfortable. Perfect with jeans, this would also provide the perfect splash of color with casual grey slacks and top.
This bangle bracelet is crafted in peyote stitch using Japanese round seed beads in two finishes of a beautiful Capri blue. It is approximately 0.6" wide and a diameter of about 2.3". It has a little give. The close-up shot provides the most accurate color representation on my monitor.
SIZING
While I cannot resize the bangle in the photograph, I can make one to fit you. Please measure your hand at its widest point when its held the way you would to slip a bangle over it. Let me have that measurement in the Notes to Seller. I will make your bangle to the next largest size allowed by the bead counts for this design (approximately 0.4" increments, in this case).
SHIPPING
This bracelet will be shipped in an elegant gift box using First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. You can upgrade to Priority Mail for $3 by leaving a request in the "Message to Seller" box of the purchase order; wait for an amended invoice.
