For your consideration a very rare and hard to find pair of folding chairs. Mexico circa late 40s early 50s. Unmarked. Solid mahogany wood with bronze hardware and original wicker work made of palm tree. Weaving work is consistent with work done in Mexico during the mid-century with Architect Clara Porset and designer Edmud Spence, whom work in Mexico.
CONDITION:
Wood has been re-stain in order to remove old scuff and water stains. Wicker work in good condition. There are few string missing in the corners, however it doesn't affect the structure of the chair.
