The real inspiration for this new series of Ribbed Peyote Cuffs is another kind of cuff, however - the kind you find on your favorite knit sweaters. I've always loved the texture of ribbing and, finally, I have found a way to make it without getting out the knitting needles and yarn! Even better, you can wear these any time of year.
The focal bangle was also inspired by a certain triangle-shaped long candy bar that some of us know and love well. ..adding a little background whimsy to a rather dramatic piece.
While this set of bangles is heavier than many of my pieces, it is still extremely comfortable. That said, worn, together they may be too much of a statement piece for a conservative office environment, but perfect for that special night out. The three pieces can be worn together or separately, depending on mood and occasion. Try the matching bangles on one arm, and the "louder" piece on the other.
These bangle bracelets are crafted in embellished peyote stitch using Japanese round seed beads in metallic bronze and iris brown (which gives glimmers of a deep purple in a few spots). Each of the bangles is approximately 0.6" wide with an internal diameter of about 2.75". They have a little give. Together they are approximately 1.5" wide. The "triangle" embellishment on the middle piece are about 0.5" tall.

SIZING
While I cannot resize the bangles in the photograph, I can make a set to fit you. Please measure your hand at its widest point when its held the way you would to slip a bangle over it. Let me have that measurement in the Notes to Seller. I will make your bangles to the next largest size allowed by the bead counts for this design (approximately 0.5" increments, in this case).
SHIPPING
This set will be shipped in an elegant gift box using First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. You can upgrade to Priority Mail for $3 by leaving a request in the "Message to Seller" box of the purchase order; wait for an amended invoice.
